“ It's a small place, and you wouldn't call it a smart interior, though it's clean. But you forget all that when the food arrives. The cod and chips are done to perfection. The chips are fluffy and a lovely golden brown and the fish isn't buried under a ton of batter. Instead it's coated in a tasty crispy batter that adds flavour but doesn't obscure the fish. The photo is of a small cod and chips. All condiments were available on the tables in a very cute little imitation chip fryers. The coffee was great too, nothing fancy just a lovely cup of coffee. All the plates, cups, and cutlery were clean and unchipped. The staff were friendly and quick. If you want to taste a perfect fish and chips then this is the place to go! ”
